TRF Bids Farewell to Dr Jamshed J Irani as Chairman
Dr. Jamshed .J Irani, after leading TRF Limited as its Chairman in the Board of Directors, stepped down in the 48th Annual General Meeting of the company held today. Dr Irani was the Chairman of the Company for a total duration of 15 years and was a Director in the board of the Company for 24 years. Dr Iani also announced the financial results of the Company at the Annual General Meeting. The company's consolidated turnover in quarter-1 of the current financial year was Rs 272 crores and its net profit stood at Rs 3.60 crores. Later in the day, a farewell function was organized by all employees of the Company which was attended by Directors in the Board of the Company, senior executives and officers, members of the Tata Robins Fraser Labour Union and a large number of employees of the Company. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Irani said that we must constantly strive to equip ourselves with the appropriate skill and resources to remain competitive in the market and search for even the smallest opportunity to improve ourselves. Mr Sudhir Deoras, MD, TRF and Mr Rakeswar Pandey thanked Dr Irani for his inspiring leadership on behalf of the entire company and wished him the best in the future.
